Visiting Colorado & Fort Collins
We recommend flying into Denver International Airport (DEN).
Fort Collins is 55 miles north of Denver, and is about an hour and a half from Denver International Airport. The most direct route is to take the E-470 toll road out of the airport, then I-25 north.
An alternative is to take Pena Blvd toward I-70 west and I-270 before merging onto I-25 north.
We have many different options for lodging during your course, all outlined in our “Travel Guide” (Opens in a new tab). The links in our Travel Guide offer corporate discounts on transportation and accommodation.
The Fort Collins scene has so much to offer to elevate your visit to the Centennial State. Check out our Local Scene Hospitality Guide(opens in a new window) for our team’s favorite restaurants, hikes, and activities.
If you do choose to hike, remember that Fort Collins and the Rocky Mountains are very high in elevation! Bring plenty of water and take it easy – Altitude sickness is very dangerous!
Our “travel guide” (opens in a new window) outlines several different options for getting to and from the airport, including rental cars, shuttles, or other transportation services.
Fort Collins also does have Uber and Lyft, which you can use to get around town if you choose not to rent your own vehicle.
