Dr. Laura E. Peycke

Dr. Laura E Peycke is a Clinical Professor of surgery at TAMU College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her DVM from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Dr. Peycke completed a small animal surgical residency from Louisiana State University and received her American College of Veterinary Surgeons board certification in 2004. Dr. Peycke joined the Department of Small Animal Clinical Science at the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Dr. Peycke was hired as a clinical track professor and provides senior clinician support of the orthopedic, soft tissue and general surgery services and teaches veterinary students in these respective disciplines. Dr. Peycke’s focus is primarily clinical teaching and clinical service; however, she has been involved in leadership and committee positions in teaching and is involved in continuing education outside of the hospital. Dr. Peycke also received a second specialty board certification from the American College of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2013. She presently serves as a faculty advisor and as ACVS program director for the small animal surgical residency program at TAMU.
