Wound Management and Skin Reconstruction

This course will focus on the management of traumatic wounds. The different contact layers available for the management of an open wound will be described, and their utilization will be illustrated with cases. Techniques for the closure of wounds with and without tension will be explained and practiced during the cadaveric laboratory. Local and distant flaps will performed during the laboratory. Finally, the resection of skin masses with appropriate margins will be illustrated with cases.
