Flexible GI Endoscopy
Whether it is foreign body removal, PEG tube placement or GI biopsy … your new GI endoscopy skills will make you a valuable member of your clinic team and the hero of many future pet-owning clients! This two-day introductory GI endoscopy course is specifically designed for the inspired veterinary learner with little / no endoscopic experience. You will enjoy 7 hours of practical and engaging lecture / discussion covering indications, basic technique, and disorders diagnosed via endoscopy interspersed amongst 9+ hours of valuable hands-on training in the state-of-the-future Endoscopy Training Center of CSU’s Translational Medicine Institute! On Day 1, you will use fresh cadavers to learn basic endoscopic manipulation, biopsy techniques, foreign body removal, and PEG tube placement. On Day 2, you perfect your basic upper endoscopy skills in live dogs. A delicious breakfast, lunch and break refreshments are included in the registration. Following this course, you’ll be motivated and prepared to perform GI endoscopic procedures in your practice.
