Course Description

This course is designed for: General practitioners who are interested in increasing their proficiency in hands-on dentistry skills, but who also want to improve their comfort managing common feline diseases

Dental extractions are some of the most common surgical procedures performed in small animal practice, yet many practitioners struggle with feeling confident about their surgical extraction skills. This course will aim to increase your comfort, not only with that important skill, but also with your ability to determine which teeth need to be extracted in the first place! In this hybrid course, we will spend the first day covering topics relating to our ability to diagnose and manage common feline diseases. Dentistry always requires anesthesia, so we will spend time focused on creating safe anesthetic protocols for cats. During the second day of the course, we will focus on feline regional anesthesia and extractions.

This course will include four hours of online education and 16 hours of in-person lecture and laboratory

Our goal is for you to return to your practice confident in diagnosing and managing common feline diseases, anesthetizing feline patients, interpreting radiographs and performing extractions!

Access to this course will expire one year (365 days) from the course’s end date. After this period, users will no longer have access to course materials, resources, and any associated content. It is the responsibility of the users to complete the course and download any materials including their course completion certificate.
