Looking for that edge that distinguishes your practice from the others? Laparoscopic ovariectomy is rapidly becoming the modern (and preferred) method for sterilization of female dogs and cats. This is the procedure to secure trust with your clients starting early in their pet’s life.
We’ve designed a hands-on laparoscopic ovariectomy training course like no other available anywhere. Our course includes using your new skills to provide local animal shelters with no-cost laparoscopic ovariectomies for their future adoptees.
On Day 1, spend time developing your technique on a trainer/simulator to prepare you to perform your first Lap OV technique in a canine cadaver.
Day 2 provides each participant the opportunity to operate on 2 dogs to provide our local animal rescues and shelters with no-cost laparoscopic ovariectomies. You’ll be scrubbed in with our expert instructors during surgery. When you are not performing surgery, you can watch fellow participants perform their procedures and view every detail from the comfort of your seat thanks to our advanced AV technologies in our tiered classroom and surgery suites.
Return to your practice confident to provide clients with this cutting-edge technique for sterilization of female cats and dogs.
CSU VetCE is an ACVS educational partner. This course can be used toward maintenance of ACVS re-certification.
