Do the words ulcers, polyps, biopsies, and cauterization make you sweat? Do you dread patient cases that you know will best be diagnosed with the use of rigid endoscopy?

We’ve designed this one-day course just for you. Our introductory course to rigid endoscopy will teach basic indications, techniques, and diagnostic capabilities of using the multipurpose rigid endoscope. You will learn how to perform rhinoscopy, laryngoscopy, cystoscopy and otoscopy in a 4-hour laboratory. Take these skills home and begin performing diagnostic rigid endoscopy in your practice. Feel more comfortable in all aspects of rigid endoscope, including preparation, insertion, examination, treatment, and removal.

The 1-day course will cover the equipment and various endoscopic techniques and includes a hands-on laboratory to provide ample time to practice the skills using canine cadavers. We will also host a RACE-approved Fireside Chat and Cocktail Party with Jarrod Moss, a private practitioner and KARL STORZ Veterinary Endoscopy of America representative, who can answer questions on the benefits of incorporating this equipment into your practice, how it can meet client expectations, and how it may impact your patient caseload.

Want to also build skills in flexible endoscopy skills? This course is scheduled in between our two Flexible GI Endoscopy courses to provide you the opportunity to expand your skillset by adding this course to either of our popular flexible courses. Spend three days at the TMI and return to your practice with both flexible gastrointestinal and rigid endoscopy skills.

Open to technicians to attend with a veterinarian from their practice (1 technician per veterinarian)
