Are you apprehensive about endoscopy and scoping a client’s beloved family pet? Do you think to yourself, this is beyond my skillset, the technology is too expensive—or maybe you just haven’t had enough experience to feel comfortable doing it?

Our three-day introduction course to “Everything Endoscopy” is designed with the general practitioner in mind. Enjoy 14+ hours of hands-on laboratory training applying what was taught during practical lectures covering techniques, indications, and diagnostic capabilities.

This course covers the basic aspects of both flexible gastrointestinal and rigid endoscopy – skills you can take right back and incorporate into your practice. Master GI endoscopy including foreign body removal, GI biopsy, and feeding tube placement. Learn diagnostic rigid endoscopy to perform rhinoscopy, laryngeal examination, tracheoscopy, otoscopy and cystoscopy.

On Day 1, learn basic GI endoscopic manipulation, biopsy techniques, foreign body removal, and PEG tube placement using canine cadavers. We will also host a RACE-approved Fireside Chat and Cocktail Party with Jarrod Moss, a private practitioner and KARL STORZ Veterinary Endoscopy of America representative, who can answer questions on the benefits of incorporating this equipment into your practice, how it can meet client expectations, and how it may impact your patient caseload.

On Day 2, you’ll perfect your basic upper endoscopy skills in live dogs. On day 3, you will learn how to use the multi-purpose rigid endoscope and perform the techniques in canine cadavers.

You will leave our course with comprehensive knowledge and skills that will help you investigate and diagnose a client’s family pet when indicated.

Open to technicians to attend with a veterinarian from their practice (1 technician per veterinarian)
