This immersive course is designed for general or emergency practitioners who want to feel more confident and capable handling emergency cases requiring surgical and anesthetic interventions—without breaking into a sweat every time you see a GDV or hemoabdomen patient. Whether you’re a GP or ER veterinarian this course will give you the practical tools, techniques, and confidence to manage your critical cases.

After your online pre-course modules, you’ll join us in person for a highly interactive, hands-on lab where our team of seasoned specialists will guide you through real-world scenarios. You’ll get your hands dirty with simulated emergency surgeries (splenectomies, gastropexies, and urinary surgery), learn how to prep and induce patients quickly and safely, and troubleshoot common anesthesia curveballs like hypotension, bradycardia, and the ever mysterious “my patient’s not breathing.”

Cadaver labs will let you build muscle memory, while our low-pressure, high-support teaching style ensures every question gets answered—no judgment, just good medicine.

You’ll return to your practice skilled, steady, and ready to handle the chaos with surgical smarts and anesthetic ease.
